MOHD ZAMZURI YUSOFF
Group Chief Operating Officer
Mohd Zamzuri Yusoff is the Group Chief Operating Officer of Carimin Engineering Services Sdn. Bhd.. He graduated from University Technology of Malaysia with a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Major in Gas) in 1999.
He began his career in 1999 as a Project Engineer at Right Gas Sdn. Bhd., focusing on onshore pipeline construction for the Peninsular Gas Utilization loop line. In 2005, he moved to Oil, Gas and Plant (OGP) Technical Services, a subsidiary of PETRONAS, as a Senior Mechanical/Piping Engineer. There, he was responsible for the Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning packages for the Miri Crude Oil Terminal Rejuvenation and Malaysia Liquefied Natural Gas 2 Debottlenecking projects.
In 2008, he transitioned to Kencana HL Sdn. Bhd. as a Senior Project Engineer. The following year, he joined Carimin Engineering Services Sdn. Bhd. in 2009 as a Project Manager, where he rapidly advanced. In 2017, he was promoted to General Manager, and by April 2021, he assumed the position of Group Chief Operating Officer.
In October 2024, Mohd Zamzuri was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Carimin Engineering Services Sdn. Bhd., further solidifying his leadership role in the company.
ANNUAR BIN TUMAR
Chief Operating Officer of Carimin Engineering Services Sdn. Bhd.
Annuar Bin Tumar joined Carimin Engineering Services Sdn. Bhd. in February 2020 as the General Manager for Projects. He served as the Project Director for the i-HUC Contract with Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd. from January 2020 until December 2024. In February 2024, he was promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer at Carimin Engineering Services Sdn. Bhd..
Annuar holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Valparaiso University, Indiana, USA, which he completed in 1991. With over 30 years of experience in both the upstream and downstream construction segments of the oil and gas industry, his expertise is centered around project and construction management. Over the past 15 years, Annuar has held several senior management and leadership roles, including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Operations Director, further solidifying his leadership acumen in the industry.
PATRICK CHOONG
General Manager - Finance
Patrick Choong joined Carimin Engineering Services Sdn. Bhd. in April 2016 as Corporate Finance Manager and is currently serving as the General Manager of Finance, overseeing the Finance department.
He is a graduate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
With over 20 years of experience in finance operations, reporting, and corporate finance, Patrick has worked across a range of industries including investment holding, civil engineering, property development, management services, and oil & gas. His diverse background has equipped him with a broad understanding of financial management across multiple sectors.
HUSNEE BIN HASAN
General Manager - PMT
Husnee Bin Hasan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BsCE) from The George Washington University, Washington DC, USA.
He began his career in the oil and gas industry in 1991 with Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd. (“PCSB”), where he spent 23 years involved in fabrication, hook-up, commissioning, and the operation of PETRONAS platforms. In 2014, Husnee transitioned into the oil and gas service provider sector, further expanding his expertise in the industry.
In June 2024, Husnee joined Carimin Engineering Services Sdn. Bhd. (“CESSB”) as General Manager – PMT. In this role, he oversees all projects undertaken by CESSB, including integrated Hook-Up and Commissioning Contracts, Maintenance, Construction and Modification Contracts, and Onshore Pipeline Projects.
